Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely operate equipment such as an electric/manual hand jack.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
