Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate in an entry-level position. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards, and perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, perform various physical tasks, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk around the store

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently as well as part of a team, stay organized, pay attention to detail, and follow instructions

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience desired
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
