Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Proficiency in general cleaning tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Adherence to state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is advantageous
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
