Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's merchandise is well-stocked, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Join us in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties per company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
• Prior work experience in retail environment preferred

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior work experience in retail is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
