Job Description

As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers to enhance their overall experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
  • Conduct store inventory counts following guidelines and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
  • Adhere to cash-handling policies and minimize related risks.
  • Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
  • Safe and proficient use of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
