Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at the new ALDI store. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any concerns to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
