Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to manage all aspects of store operations effectively, preparing you for a successful career as a store manager. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, creating operational plans, and developing your team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Communicate and uphold company values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Manage staffing, including hiring, scheduling, and training.
• Ensure store signage, product quality, and freshness meet ALDI standards.
• Conduct store meetings, performance evaluations, and provide coaching for staff development.
• Maintain budget goals, manage cash audits, and monitor inventory levels.
• Identify training opportunities and drive performance improvements.
• Create a safe in-store environment for employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience is advantageous.
