Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi, a leading retail company. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training to prepare you for managing store operations effectively. Your role will involve supervising daily activities, ensuring excellent customer service, managing schedules, and developing operational plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide exceptional customer service.
• Implement company strategies and uphold core values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness.
• Participate in hiring store personnel and manage schedules.
• Provide job expectations to direct reports and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure store payroll and budgets are met.
• Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and oversee product merchandising.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Experience in budgeting and personnel management.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.
