Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join the Aldi team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of store management to prepare you for a successful career in retail. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while guiding and supporting the team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Supervise team performance to provide outstanding customer service
- Communicate and uphold company values to foster a sense of teamwork
- Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness
- Assist in the hiring process and manage staff schedules
- Set job expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations
- Monitor store budget, inventory, and merchandise presentation
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in interpreting and applying company policies
- Proficiency in budgeting and personnel management
- Previous retail experience and management skills preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience
- Combination of education and experience considered
- Prior management experience is a plus
Travel
Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may need to travel to multiple locations within divisional requirements.
