Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join the Aldi team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of store management to prepare you for a successful career in retail. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while guiding and supporting the team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Supervise team performance to provide outstanding customer service
• Communicate and uphold company values to foster a sense of teamwork
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness
• Assist in the hiring process and manage staff schedules
• Set job expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations
• Monitor store budget, inventory, and merchandise presentation
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in interpreting and applying company policies
• Proficiency in budgeting and personnel management
• Previous retail experience and management skills preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience
• Combination of education and experience considered
• Prior management experience is a plus

Travel

Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may need to travel to multiple locations within divisional requirements.
