Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare for managing store operations effectively. Your role will involve supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and implementing operational strategies while nurturing and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver top-tier customer service.
• Communicate and uphold company values to foster a cohesive team environment.
• Manage customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
• Maintain store presentation, product quality, and correct signage.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process.
• Create and oversee staff schedules for optimal store coverage.
• Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and facilitate employee development.
• Conduct regular store meetings and training sessions.
• Monitor store budgets and expenses to meet financial goals.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of retail management principles and operations.
• Experience in handling cash transactions and operating related equipment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience desirable.
