Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be immersed in all aspects of store operations, preparing you for a future leadership role. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, developing operational plans, and fostering a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the store team to provide top-notch customer service.
• Implement company strategies and values to promote collaboration among employees.
• Manage customer inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain store signage and product quality standards.
• Participate in the recruitment and training of store staff.
• Create and update schedules to meet staffing requirements.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct evaluations for team members.
• Monitor store budgets and implement loss prevention measures.
• Provide feedback on products and suggest enhancements.
• Ensure a safe work environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular reconciliations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.

Travel

Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may need to travel to multiple locations as part of their training.
