Job Description: Head Tennis Professional, Adult Programming

TPC Sugarloaf, located in Duluth, GA, is looking for a dedicated Head Tennis Professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the tennis operations staff, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Tennis Operations to manage and develop our tennis programs.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop, coordinate, and lead various tennis programs for members of all ages and skill levels.
• Create promotional materials to communicate program offerings to members and guests.
• Coordinate with other club departments for event services and manage program and tournament set-up.
• Assume management responsibility in the Tennis Shop during peak periods and oversee tennis court maintenance.
• Teach lessons, clinics, and practice sessions as needed.
• Assist with labor management, budget development, and inventory control.
• Engage in member communication and marketing activities to promote club services.
• Handle sales transactions, manage merchandise displays, and ensure a high standard of customer service.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Sports Management preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of tennis rules and regulations with at least four years of teaching experience.
• Certified through USPTA (Level P-2 or Higher) or PTR (Level Instructor or higher).
