Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a Local City Driver/Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a full-time member of our organization, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo in and around Brooklyn, NY. Your role will involve loading and unloading trailers and providing exceptional customer service through safe and efficient transportation services.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize standard techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Actual duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT pre-employment screenings.
