Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator based in Brooklyn, NY to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position involves the pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of our consolidation/distribution center. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers using efficient techniques and procedures. General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
• Loading and unloading of trailers utilizing established techniques and technology.
• Actual duties and schedule may vary by terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
