Job Description
L.L.Bean is looking for a talented Industrial Master Electrician to join our team in Freeport. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 an hour, premium pay for night shifts, great benefits, a generous employee discount, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide second level support for electrical maintenance across departments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment.
- Install and maintain complex robotics, sorting, and vision systems.
- Upgrade and maintain power distribution systems and lighting systems.
- Ensure compliance with state guidelines on Universal Waste handling.
- Act as a project lead and provide support for new technology requirements.
- Mentor and support junior electricians.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage when required.
Requirements
- Master Electrician license required.
- 6 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and in aerial lifts at heights over 30 feet.
- Valid state driver's license required.

Education
Vocational/Technical Degree or 2-Year Associate's Degree required for Master Electrician license.
