Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the clinical team at Sedgewood Commons, part of Genesis HealthCare. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services and improving the lives of patients and residents on a part-time basis. This position offers day, evening, and night shifts, providing flexibility for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and ensure patient/family satisfaction.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in care planning and supervise unlicensed staff in providing patient care.
• Administer medications and perform treatments following physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.
