Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on care and support to terminally ill patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being during a challenging time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to patients at the Respite House or in their homes, addressing both their physical and emotional needs.
- Establish strong relationships based on empathy, understanding, and respect for each patient's individual requirements.
- Educate and comfort families, providing guidance and support throughout the care process.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality care with compassion.
Qualifications
- Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
- Demonstrated empathy and commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
