Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join the Post Acute Unit at Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing. As an LNA, you will work under the direction of the Staff Nurse to provide essential personal care support and assist with patient care in a welcoming and respectful environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic personal care support to residents.
  • Assist with specific aspects of patient care as directed by the Staff Nurse.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident comfort and well-being.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • State of Vermont LNA license.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
