Join our team at Aveanna Healthcare as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) responsible for providing skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves delivering quality patient care, assessing patient needs, coordinating care plans, and documenting all activities in compliance with regulations and standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care according to physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and implement appropriate nursing actions.
• Document all care activities and maintain infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments.
• Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, and effective problem-solving.
• Good organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, reposition patients, and move equipment.
• Capable of responding to emergency situations and working in various environments.
