Position Summary: As a Master Plumber at Berkshire Mechanical, you will perform diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light-commercial environments. You will ensure work is in compliance with relevant codes and provide excellent customer service. This role requires a master plumbing and/or gas license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve customer problems professionally.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems.
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances.
- Interpret drawings and plans for pipe installations.
- Inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs.
- Locate and repair leaks in plumbing systems.
- Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with plumbing training.
- Seven years' experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
- Plumbing and/or gas license as required.
- EPA and safety certifications.
- Proficiency in mechanical aptitude and operating tools.
- Knowledge of national, state, and local plumbing codes.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- HVAC industry familiarity is a plus.
