Job Description
We are seeking motivated Mental Health Therapists to join our expanding Adult Outpatient Services team at Marion County. As a Mental Health Therapist 2, you will provide crucial mental health therapy to individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including other providers, and contribute to the recovery and well-being of individuals in need.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments, individual and group therapy, and case management services to individuals with complex needs.
- Offer crisis intervention services and develop safety/crisis plans with supervisor oversight.
- Collaborate with family members, natural supports, and other service providers to promote recovery and community integration.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet performance expectations for time and billing standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, OR Bachelor's degree in nursing/occupational therapy with postgraduate behavioral health experience.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as per Oregon state requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, adhere to ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality.
