We are seeking a dedicated Microbiology Supervisor to join our team for the day shift in Tulsa. As a pivotal member of our healthcare system, you will oversee the operations of the microbiology department, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality results. Responsibilities:
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies and procedures for effective operations.
- Monitor supply purchases and personnel scheduling based on patient census fluctuations.
- Serve as the primary resource for technical personnel, providing training and guidance.
- Develop, review, and update policy and procedure manuals to maintain compliance.
- Evaluate technical performance and competency of staff members.
- Establish strong relationships with employees, supporting their career development.
- Take responsibility for identifying and resolving departmental issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a hospital lab setting.
