Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers are essential in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our drivers execute their roles efficiently and effectively, contributing to our low turnover rate and the success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform pickups and deliveries of cargo to and from various destinations, primarily in proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize advanced techniques and technology for loading and unloading trailers, similar to dock workers.
- Tasks and scheduling may vary based on the terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training may be available for those with less experience.
- Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work history and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Clean driving records (MVR and previous employers).
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
