Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oncology Account Manager to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our oncology products, establishing and managing relationships with healthcare professionals in your designated territory, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve our objectives. This role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and is crucial in driving sales and representing Jazz Pharmaceuticals at various events and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers within the assigned area.
  • Educate physicians and healthcare professionals on our products and their approved indications.
  • Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information.
  • Analyze the territory to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes.
  • Prepare business and tactical plans for the assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Support the company's sales strategy and contribute to a team environment.

Requirements

  • Four-year college/university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in Oncology sales preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology products and disease states.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet territorial requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Post-graduate business school study or training.
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales experience or 3 years of Oncology sales experience.
  • Experience with Hematology, Solid Tumor, AML, or Lung Cancer preferred.
  • Community Oncology practice experience.
  • Key Account knowledge strongly preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequent travel between meeting sites.
  • Regular use of computer, printer, telephone, and other office machinery.
  • Interactions with external contacts in office environment.
  • Possible work schedule outside 'normal' work hours.
  • Public contact requiring appropriate business attire.
