Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring compliance with the care plan and physicians' orders. This position requires delivering quality patient care, documenting observations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care according to physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and communicate changes to the supervisor/physician.
• Document all activities, assessments, and care coordination promptly.
• Participate in care plan implementation and updates.
• Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Good organization and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to speak, write, read English, travel, lift 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.

Environment

Ability to work in diverse environments and handle exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
