Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in compliance with physicians' orders and care plans. We have openings for NG-TUBE Nurses and Weekend nurses with flexible shifts available.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes.
• Document all activities and care in a timely manner.
• Implement and update nursing care plans.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and prevention.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six (6) months of recent clinical care experience.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving.
• Good organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
• Must have visual, hearing acuity, and a strong sense of smell and touch.

Environment

Ability to function in a variety of environments; possible exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
