Job Description
Join ALDI as a Part-Time Cashier/Stocker to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. Whether operating registers or stocking shelves, you will play a key role in maintaining our stores' appearance and serving our valued customers. This position offers variety and new challenges daily.
Position Details
- Type: Part-Time
- Hours: Less than 30 per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members and communicate pertinent information to leaders.
• Maintain document security and confidentiality within your area.
• Cashiers process purchases, tidy displays, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Stockers rotate products to ensure freshness and create attractive displays.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Work well independently and within a team.
• Time management skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications
• Cashiers: Efficiently operate a cash register and adhere to regulations for alcohol sales.
• Stockers: Safely operate equipment including electric/manual hand jacks.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
