Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at ALDI. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Type

Part-Time, fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform cashier duties including processing purchases and providing customer assistance.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of retail products and services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and other physical activities. Stockers must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and operate equipment safely.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
