Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at Aldi. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent service to our customers. This position offers variety and new challenges daily.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate information
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents
• Perform cashier or stocker duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and provide exceptional service
• Keep shelves stocked and merchandise displays neat
• Provide feedback to management on products and inventory
• Participate in store inventory counts

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh products
• Follow merchandising guidelines
• Organize inventory and operate machinery safely

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of company products and services

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail preferred
