Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Medical Surgical department at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and adjunct care. You will also monitor vital signs and provide support to nurses and staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including meal delivery, patient mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check and record vital signs accurately.
• Adhere to professional standards and follow policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care, CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification.
