Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Cardiology Medical Surgical team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their progress, and providing essential support under the supervision of medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and progress.
- Collect specimens for lab tests and maintain patient records.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or enrollment in nursing school.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
