Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a National Payer Account Executive with a focus on Medicaid to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines. As the National Payer Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring market access for Jazz's product portfolio. This role requires executing market access strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and optimizing reimbursement support services.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies within assigned Medicaid accounts.
• Collaborate with field sales colleagues to leverage access opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals in target payers.
• Coordinate Jazz activities and resources with target payers.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and implement market access strategies.
• Negotiate rebate agreements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Experience in Account Management focusing on Medicaid.
• Demonstrated ability in leading cross-organizational projects.
• Strong understanding of healthcare, payers, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and business acumen skills.

Education and Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience with specialty products and reimbursement models preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
