Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Phlebotomist to join The University of Vermont Health Network team at Woodridge. As an LNA / Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for phlebotomy specimen collections, providing direct and indirect nursing care, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize residents in need of phlebotomy services.
  • Perform venipunctures and collect urine specimens following standard procedures.
  • Complete daily care needs of residents and monitor their condition.
  • Prepare residents for meals, record vital signs, and assist in admission and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance resident care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Completed approved phlebotomy course with venipuncture experience.
  • Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
  • Registered as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic nursing care skills.
