We are currently looking for a dedicated Private Duty Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing top-quality care to our patients in Wexford and surrounding areas. Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to supervisors and physicians promptly.
• Document patient care activities, assessments, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in the development and updating of nursing care plans.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments to achieve desired outcomes.
• Recognize and address changes in patient needs and responses, implementing preventive or corrective care measures.
• Adhere to Aveanna policies, regulations, and standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and preventive strategies.
• Stay current on nursing competencies through educational programs and skill evaluation.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience (New Grad Program available for recent graduates).
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (Hands-on BLS).
