Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. If you are passionate about providing personalized care in the home health setting, this position might be the perfect fit for you.
As part of ChristianaCare HomeHealth, you will be responsible for delivering expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across Delaware. From administering medications to providing specialized medical support, your role will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to medically fragile patients.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Develop positive relationships with patients through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- Active DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a mandatory two-week orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient field training.
- Prior experience in home health or Long Term Care is a plus.
- Preferred experience with tracheostomy and ventilator support.
