Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Private Duty Nursing team at ChristianaCare. In this role, you will provide expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients in the comfort of their homes. If you have a DE LPN or RN license and a passion for delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships by serving compassionately and courteously.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation followed by patient field orientation.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
