Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking to provide one-on-one care to patients in the home health setting? Join ChristianaCare as a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) and make a difference in the lives of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients throughout DE. In this role, you will deliver expert care to medically fragile patients, coordinate care with families and healthcare providers, administer medications, and ensure the overall well-being of your patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to patients in need of specialized medical attention.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- Active DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a two-week orientation program in Camden office.
- Prior experience in home health or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is desirable.
