Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse who loves the idea of providing one-on-one healthcare to patients in the comfort of their homes? ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will have the opportunity to care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, administering medications, managing tracheostomies, ventilator support, and more.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Build positive relationships with empathy and professionalism.
- Work weekends on a rotational basis.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend orientation sessions and field training.
- Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is advantageous.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is a plus.
