Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join the Vaxxinova team in Willmar, MN, within the Central Services department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of equipment for vaccine manufacturing operations on the evening shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 11:00pm.
Main Responsibilities
- Track, test, and maintain filters for production.
- Decontaminate, wash, and rinse equipment used in vaccine manufacturing.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment.
- Prepare and wrap equipment for sterilization.
- Communicate daily with other departments for equipment readiness.
- Maintain a clean work environment to ensure sterility.
- Record task information promptly.
- Complete ongoing training on procedures and safety.
- Assist other manufacturing departments when possible.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Capabilities
- Basic math skills and MS Office proficiency.
- Mechanical problem-solving experience is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and pay attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and legible handwriting.
- Capacity to make independent decisions.
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various movements.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
