Job Description
Marion County Health and Human Services is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and flexible Program Therapist 2 to work at Horizon House Residential Treatment Facility. The Program Therapist will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, providing Person-Centered mental health treatment services in a 24-hour residential clinical setting for adult residents with serious mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and crisis intervention services.
- Coordinate with clinical teams, manage treatment plans, and ensure resident needs are addressed effectively.
- Facilitate skills development activities, community integration, and recovery-oriented approaches.
- Maintain clinical documentation, conduct medication administration support, and engage in milieu therapy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field; or bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy.
- Program Therapist 2 requires at least one year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, or Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
