Job Description
Marion County Health and Human Services is looking for a compassionate and dynamic Program Therapist 2 to join the team at Horizon House Residential Treatment Facility. The Program Therapist will engage with adult residents with mental illness and related challenges, offering therapeutic support and assisting in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
- Coordinate crisis intervention services and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in mental health field or related discipline.
- Program Therapist 2 requires at least one year of post-master's degree experience.
- Licensure by Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, or Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon.
- Strong knowledge of community mental health services and treatment protocols.
