Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hemodialysis Department at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in caring for patients in our 4-chair unit, utilizing cutting-edge equipment and participating actively in their treatment.
Unit Description
Our Hemodialysis Department at CVPH provides care for an average of 8 patients per day. RNs are expected to complete the CVPH Cardia Arrhythmia Recognition Class within one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care during hemodialysis treatments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration for patient well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and monitor treatment progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in hemodialysis care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state.
- Prior experience in hemodialysis or relevant healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
