Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include managing patient care, providing education, and collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure the highest standards of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to professional standards, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Prior mental health experience and group facilitation skills preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
• Provide documentation of no record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment.
