Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with care plans and physician orders while upholding professional standards and confidentiality. You will assess patient conditions, update care plans, provide education to patients and families, and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care based on physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
  • Document all care activities and maintain timely records.
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
  • Take appropriate nursing actions and prevent risks.
  • Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Provide infection control measures and patient education.
  • Maintain nursing competencies through ongoing education.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
  • State-specific requirements may apply.

Preferences

  • Recent nursing experience, especially in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
