Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Registered Professional Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. This role involves directing and guiding the delivery of nursing care, patient education, and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm Course within nine (9) months.
• Completion and maintenance of Oncology Nurses Society (ONS) course/Chemotherapy Biotherapy Administration within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide the delivery of nursing care.
• Provide patient education.
