Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Room, using the nursing process to provide high-quality care and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• Preferably with past Emergency Department experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outside regular hours based on patient volume demands.
• Collaborative team player with a high level of motivation.
