Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As an RN, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and/or observational care patients in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes while maintaining professional standards and collaborating with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for post-procedural and observational patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Direct and guide the delivery of nursing care and patient education.
• Maintain professional standards and collaborate with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BLS or ACLS required with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
