Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is seeking a passionate and experienced Safety and Security Regional Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a Regional Manager, Safety & Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting company assets, assuring safe working conditions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to prevent accidents and incidents, investigate causal factors, and implement preventive measures.
General Description of Duties
- Conduct safety and security inspections of facilities.
- Investigate vehicular accidents and incidents.
- Analyze data to identify problems and implement corrective actions.
- Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and personnel.
- Train employees on safety and security protocols.
- Oversee department activities and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist with various projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, safety, or law enforcement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and investigative procedures.
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous situations and be on call 24/7.
