Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Regional Manager to join our team at ArcBest - ABF Freight. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, ensuring safe working conditions, and overseeing compliance with all safety and security policies and regulations.

General Description of Duties:

• Conduct safety and security inspections at company facilities and properties.
• Investigate and manage vehicular accidents, including coordinating necessary activities and completing reports.
• Lead loss prevention meetings, training sessions, and analyze statistical data to mitigate risks.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies, enforcement bodies, and internal stakeholders.
• Instruct and guide employees on safety and security protocols and regulations.
• Manage expenditures, route closures, and driver-related issues.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
• Experience: Minimum of five years with ArcBest or subsidiaries, transportation or safety background.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard management, DOT compliance, and investigative experience.
