Safety and Security Regional Manager

ArcBest company, ABF Freight, is seeking a Safety and Security Regional Manager to protect company assets, ensure safe working conditions, and enforce compliance with regulations and standards. This role involves conducting inspections, investigating accidents, analyzing data, and liaising with regulatory agencies. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with safety regulations, and strong investigative and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety and security inspections of facilities.
- Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly.
- Analyze data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with enforcement agencies and management.
- Train employees on safety and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years in transportation, safety, or law enforcement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with safety, DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Ability to work irregular hours and in hazardous situations.
